| End a process immediately in windows XP/VistaMost of the times you are able to end a process in a regular way just by closing the window associated with that program but some times it goes in a hang state known as ‘[b]Not Responding’ state in Windows. So at that point of time if you want end a process immediately, I would recommend end it using ‘ Task Manager’.[/b]
- Press ‘Alt+Ctrl+Delete’ to launch Task Manager.
- Click on the ‘Process’ tab.
- Locate the program exe, click it to select and press ‘End Process’ button below at the right-side as shown in the image below.
- Click ‘Yes’ button on the newly opened small window.
