Smoking addiction that occurs largely due to nicotine dependence or drug addiction, can cause numerous health effects. Thus, it is important that people try and withdraw from it at the earliest. Here are some tips people may follow for easy withdrawal:


  • An extremely useful way is to try the numerous nicotine replacement therapies like, chewing a gum, nasal sprays or inhalers. These prove to be highly beneficial at times of severe cravings or mood swings.
  • If you are a chain smoker or prefer to smoke at certain outlets only, then you may change your routine or try to avoid such places.
  • There are several medicines also available like Bupropion, that can help you break your smoking addiction.
  • In case you are facing problems breaking free of your addiction, you must consult some counselors or attend counseling sessions.
