| So u think u know how to deal wd nos.?There's more to figures than math,it's called CAT(Certified Accounting Technician). Certified Accounting Technician,also known as CAT, is offered as an introduction to the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification.The qualification is accessible to any1 aged 16 years or older.Students who have completed their O'levels & Matriculation can apply for it.There is no time limit in the CAT qualification, so u can qualify at ur speed & do ur studies around ur other commitments. The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification will provide u wd a solid foundation in finance & accounting-providing u wd all the necessary technical skills & knowledge required in performing an accounting-support role. The CAT comprises of: exams-9 papersexperience-one year's practical experience The CAT exams r divided into three levels: introductory,advanced & advance level. INTRODUCTORY LEVEL: paper 1 Recording financial transactions paper 2 Information for management control INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: paper 3 Managing financial records paper 4 Accounting for costs ADVANCED LEVEL: COMPULSORY PAPERS:paper 5 Managing ppl n systems paper 6 Drafting financial statements paper 7 Planning, control & performance management OPTIONAL PAPERS(Attempt any 2 out of 3) paper 8 Implementing audit procedurepaper 9 preparing texation computationspaper 10 managing finances CAT graduates have a wide range of job opportunities available,like, Audit Manager, Accounting Manager, Tax Accountant, Audit Senior, Senior Tax Manager, Bussiness management senior,Staff Accountant, Tax Accountant,Part time Tax Manager,Senior Accountant & Finance Director. CAT & ACCA offer a swift first step to career success in a very short period of time.Hence CAT qualification is a good choice,it would just take 4 years to complete the degree & by the time u start earning . . . |
