اب کے ہم بچھڑے تو شايد کبھي خوابوں ميں مليں
جس طرح سوکھے ہوئے پھول کتابوں ميں مليں

ڈھونڈ اجڑے ہوئے لوگوں ميں وفا کے موتي
يہ خزانے تجھے ممکن ہے خرابوں ميں مليں

غم دنيا بھي غم يار ميں شامل کر لو
نشہ برپا ہے شرابيں جو شرابوں ميں مليں

تو خدا ہے نہ ميرا عشق فرشتوں جيسا
دونوں انساں ہيں تو کيوں اتنے حجابوں ميں مليں

آج ہم دار پہ کھينچے گئے جن باتوں پر
کيا عجب کل وہ زمانے کو نصابوں ميں مليں

اب نہ وہ ميں ہوں نہ تو ہے نہ وہ ماضي ہے فراز
جيسے دو سائے تمنا کے سرابوں ميں مليں
